Downtown Winter Haven has a City-owned parking garage and public surface lots, while major attractions and lake events use their own arrival plans. This guide gives you the stable starting point and sends you to the current source when a festival, ski show or attraction changes the normal pattern.
The everyday parking rules
The City identifies a public parking garage on Avenue A NW as part of its downtown parking system. The Ritz facility page also directs theater visitors to the garage behind the theater.
The City's CRA parking program identifies multiple City-owned surface lots around the downtown core. Some individual spaces can be reserved, so posted signs always take priority.
First Friday, markets and major Central Park events can change normal traffic and curb access. Use event-day signs and organizer instructions rather than assuming the same block will always be open.
LEGOLAND Florida Resort, Peppa Pig Theme Park and related attractions operate their own parking and access systems. Their current directions and fees should control those visits.
Lake Silver water-ski shows and other lakefront events can affect access around parks. Check the organizer before leaving and allow extra time for popular free events.
